1. In order to sell your home you first need to know what other houses sold for, not what they were listed at. The only way to know what other houses have sold for that are comparable to yours is to go through a realtor. The Sale price is not the SOLD price
2. FSBO/Flat fee listings greatly reduces your exposure therefore your audience! Homes on the mls system does not necessary mean real estate agents can see them on their systems.

The agents pays for all expenses from what is left over! There are some well off agents out there but for the majority we are just trying to make a living like the rest of the world.
